The size and price of the piece should dictate your risk on picking a pattern.
Small piece? You can take risks outside your comfort zone and even choose a bold color or pattern you might not have considered before. Try out a trendy pattern you’ve had your eye on. If you don’t love it in a couple years, you won’t have wasted to much.
Large piece? This is the time to make sure you will be ok to live with this fabric for a while. The investment of fabric and the reupholstery deserves a more conservative approach.
Cotton alone resists wear, fading and pilling. But it is susceptible to staining and wrinkling. Cottons blends with other fibres, such as linen, polyester and viscose, create a much sturdier fabric. It’s even stronger if it is surface-treated with a stain-resistant finish (see below).
We wrap all seat cushions individually in a layer of polyester

Silk is very delicate, so animals will destroy it quickly. Velvet is also very luxurious, but easy to damage and very difficult to clean.
This lovely blush has always been in the background and for good reason. I include this invigorating color into every interior I do. Pink is another healing color to have in a home to help keep you calm. Plus, it’s often feared making it an unexpected pop! But if you’re in the market for upholstery this is a great hue to experiment with on an accent piece or a chair.
Cushions covers are crafted into the desired shape having one sewn seam around the circumference of the cushion. A small section of the seam is left open in the back for the fill to be added. After the the fill is added, the cushion is sewn close.
